As it was in the Days of Noah and Lot

I want you to consider the following facts from scripture.

Jesus said in Luke 17v26-30, that as it was in the days of Noah and the days of Lot, so shall it be when He is revealed at His second coming. Also Matthew 24v36-41.

The days of Noah were characterised by:

Genesis 6

1. A population explosion

2. Fallen angels (bene ha' elohim) known as the Watchers having sexual relations with human women resulting in the birth of the Nephilim (fallen ones) or giants (gibborim)

3. This union resulted in a corruption of human DNA and the human seed line

4. The fallen angels taught mankind hidden knowledge which resulted in every imagination of the thoughts of man's heart being constantly evil

5. This is why ancient cultures like Greece and Rome had mythologies which told about the lost civilisation of Atlantis, Mount Olympus (abode of the gods) and the Titans and those who were god-men (half God, half human). Also half animal, half human monstrosities like Centaurs etc.

6. By the way Atlantis was renowned for being ruled by 10 philosopher-kings and had a great university (Plato). Remember there will be 10 kings who rule with the AntiChrist who have not received a kingdom as yet. Revelation 17

7. The earth was filled with violence. We find in the Book of Enoch (which was part of the Jewish culture and well known by the disciples and although not in the Canon of Scripture was quoted by Jude in v14&15 of his epistle) evidence, that this violence was mostly perpetrated by the Nephilim who were cannibals.

The incursion of the Watchers or fallen angels (who left their first estate or habitation) and did that which was absolutely prohibited by God (different seed procreating together) resulted in God destroying the antediluvian world with a flood. See 2 Peter 2v4&5 and

Jude v 6 which details God's judgement of the Watchers/Fallen Angels and how they were imprisoned in Tartarus. (Not Hades or Sheol but the deepest part of hell. The Greek word for Tartarusis only used one time in the whole of scripture by Peter in relation to the punishment of the fallen angels)

It says Noah found grace in God's sight and was found perfect in his generations. I believe this means that he was genetically pure. His DNA had not been corrupted. Remember the great Messianic promise in Genesis 3v15 that the seed of the woman (speaking of Jesus) would overcome the seed of the serpent (Satan). Is it possible, that the incursion of the Watchers and the corruption of the human seed line was an attempt to stop the Messiah being born of the woman in order to thwart the plan of redemption?

Jesus also likened the time before His return to the days of Lot. Genesis 19.

Ezekiel 16v49&50 tells us very clearly what the root sin was in Sodom and surprisingly it wasn't homosexuality

1. Pride and haughtiness

2. Fulness of bread (affluence)

3. Abundance of idleness

4. She strengthened not the hand of the poor and needy

Yes, homosexuality is what Sodom and Gomorrah was known for but that was the fruit of a deeper malaise and evil that had taken hold of that society. The root was pride, self-confidence and self-reliance due to affluence, abundance and idleness and having no compassion on the poor and needy.

Sound familiar? Aggressive and unashamed homosexual and transgender issues being celebrated, normalised and even taught to children. However, at its root is human pride and absolute and total rebellion against God. In the humanistic society we now live in "do as you will is all the law". No absolutes, no right and wrong, a perverted reality, were evil becomes good and good evil. Again both Peter and Jude detail God's judgement and wrath against the wickedness of Sodom and Gomorrah. 2 Peter 2v6-9 and Jude 7.

Jude actually says that the people of Sodom gave themselves over to fornication and went after strange (other) flesh. Did they know the 2 men who came to Lot were angels and they wanted to replicate what happened in Genesis 6 and have intercourse with angelic beings?

What I want you to take away from this - even if you remember nothing else - is that the flood and the fire and brimstone that was unleashed on Sodom, were both acts of God's judgement and wrath against wickedness and corruption.

When Jesus speaks of the days of Noah and Lot, he is telling us that when He returns what characterised these cultures will also be prevalent in the world at that time.

In the context of Matthew 24 and Luke 17 he is not speaking of the days of Noah and Lot being a type of the Great Tribulation but rather they represent the time the Bible calls " the Day of the Lord". This is the time, when God will pour out His wrath upon an unbelieving and rebellious world, that have given themselves over to the AntiChrist and Satan and who are so controlled by evil, that they will curse God and not repent even though they are under His unrelenting judgement. I believe that the mark of the beast (without which no one will be able to buy and sell i.e. participate in the global economy) will change what makes people human, will alter the very DNA of the human race and will link everyone to a "hive mind", which results in the centralised system (probably a very high powered computer system which is linked to 6G or 7G. 5G is by no means the last) controlling people's thoughts and desires. Why is it, that like the Nephilim before them, those who take the mark cannot be saved but are doomed to everlasting separation from God?

God's judgement is what happened to Noah's generation and Lots.

Noah was told to prepare an ark. Hebrews 11v7 says that when he was warned by God of things that he had not yet seen, that he was moved with fear and prepared an ark to the saving of his family, by which he also condemned the world of his day.

In both cases, Noah and Lot, God saved them from wrath and the judgement that He unleashed. The judgement was total and absolute! Notice I didn't say he saved or delivered them from persecution. No, he delivered them from wrath. The ark was lifted up above the earth and Lot was taken out of Sodom. Both events represent the rapture or catching away of the church. 1 Thessalonians 4v13-18.

We are promised that we will be saved from wrath, not persecution or tribulation. 1 Thessalonians 5v9.

The same day that God saved Noah and Lot came out of Sodom, God unleashed His wrath against an unsuspecting and unprepared world.

That is so significant. Please don't miss what I just said!

Luke 17v29 says

But the same day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven and destroyed them all.

You see God did not pour out His wrath until Lot had been delivered. In fact, in Genesis 19v23 the angel tells Lot that he can't do anything until Lot and his family have safely escaped from the city. There is so much more I would like to say about the Genesis 19 account specifically regarding Lot lingering and the angels basically dragging him and his family out and his wife looking back and turning to a pillar of salt but maybe some other time.

The point I want to make, is that God has not appointed us to wrath but he has appointed us to know salvation and deliverance from the wrath to come. That doesn't mean that we will not suffer persecution - the exact opposite is true. He has told us that we will suffer tribulation and persecution but that He will strengthen and keep us.

I want you to notice that God does 2 specific things before he pours out His wrath.

We find this in Revelation 7.

When the sixth seal is opened in Revelation 6v12 the Day of the Lord is heralded by cosmic signs. Basically God switches the lights off! The sun, moon and stars do not give off their light. This is an exact fulfilment of Joel 2v30-32.

The sun shall be turned to darkness and the moon to blood BEFORE the great and the terrible day of the Lord come v31

God has promised that very specific and unambiguous signs will herald the Day of the Lord.

In Matthew 24v29 Jesus talks about these very signs and tells us when they will happen

Immediately after the tribulation of those days.

What else does he tell us?

He tells us that the rapture will happen at this very time.

Look at the chronology:

The cosmic signs that herald the Day of the Lord happen:

1. Immediately after the Great Tribulation

2. Before the rapture of the church

3. Before the Day of the Lord

In Matthew 24v31, Jesus says that then (when? Immediately after the tribulation and the cosmic signs v29)

1. He will send His angels with a great sound of a trumpet cf. 1 Corinthians 15v52 Thessalonians 4v16

2. He shall gather His elect cf. 2 Thessalonians 2v1.

Back to Revelation 7.

God does 2 very significant and important things before he pours out His wrath.

1. He seals the 144,000 Jews

2. He raptures the church

The 144,000

12,000 from each of the 12 tribes listed in Revelation7v1-8.

Revelation 14v1-5 we find the 144,000 on Mount Zion with the Lamb of God and we are told who they are - and they are not missionaries who preach to the "tribulation saints". I have searched the Bible and can't find anywhere were it says that (another example of reading into the scriptures something which is not there).

These verses point to these 144,000 being the the initial harvest (firstfruits) from Israel.

They are redeemed from among men and are called firstfruits unto God and the Lamb Revelation 14v4

This reminds us of the second of the Spring feasts on the Jewish calendar. Following on from the Feast of Passover and the Feast of Unleavened Bread is the Feast of Firstfruits.

In Leviticus 23v9-14 God instructs Moses concerning this Feast and how it was to be observed by the children of Israel.

When they reaped the harvest they were to bring a sheaf or bundle of barley (the Firstfruits of the harvest) and the priest was to wave it before the Lord. This was to be done on the day after the Sabbath ie. Sunday.

This Feast was ultimately fulfilled by Jesus at His resurrection. In 1 Corinthians 15v20 it says

20¶But now is Christ risen from the dead, and become the firstfruits of them that slept.

Jesus was the Firstborn among many brethren. He was the first to rise from the dead and because He was raised we have the assurance that those who die in Christ will be raised at His coming. The dead in Christ shall rise first and corruption shall put on incorruption.

Jesus as the firstfruits of those that sleep is the guarantee that those who die in Christ shall be raised. Because He lives we will live also.

Likewise the 144,000 are called firstfruits because they are the guarantee of the full harvest of Jews. Though the children of Israel be as the sand of the sea yet a remnant shall be saved. Romans 9v27 and And so all Israel shall be saved when the fulness of the Gentiles have come into the Kingdom Romans 11v25&26.

So the 144,000 are sealed and protected by God as firstfruits of the harvest of Israel.

The Great Multitude that no Man could Number In Revelation 7v9-17 we are told about another group who are described as a multitude from every nation, ethnicity, tongue and tribe who are in heaven before the throne of God and the Lamb, dressed in white robes holding palms in their hands. There follows a conversation between the Apostle John and one of the 24 elders. The elder asks John who he thinks the great multitude are and where did they come from. John answers truthfully saying that he doesn't know.

The elder says in v14

14¶And I said unto him, Sir, thou knowest. And he said to me, These are they which came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb. The great multitude have come out of great tribulation.

They are the Church who have been raptured before God pours out His wrath! He protects the 144,000 and raptures the church.

The 4 angels, who are given power to hurt the earth and sea, are told not to do so, until the 144,000 are sealed. When is the earth and sea hurt? During the first 4 trumpet judgements Revelation 8v7-13. These are the first four of seven trumpet judgements during the Day of the Lord. The trumpet judgements are then followed by the 7 vial or bowl judgements which are even more severe.

The Day of the Lord

Zephaniah 1v14-18

14The great day of the LORD is near, it is near, and hasteth greatly, even the voice of the day of the LORD: the mighty man shall cry there bitterly.

15That day is a day of wrath, a day of trouble and distress, a day of wasteness and desolation, a day of darkness and gloominess, a day of clouds and thick darkness,

16A day of the trumpet and alarm against the fenced cities, and against the high towers.

17And I will bring distress upon men, that they shall walk like blind men, because they have sinned against the LORD: and their blood shall be poured out as dust, and their flesh as the dung.

18Neither their silver nor their gold shall be able to deliver them in the day of the LORD'S wrath; but the whole land shall be devoured by the fire of his jealousy: for he shall make even a speedy riddance of all them that dwell in the land.

In Revelation 8 we read that there is silence in heaven when the 7th seal is opened. Why? I believe heaven is silent at the gravity of what is about to be unleashed on the world and those who have taken the mark of the beast. The Day of the Lord has come!

As Revelation 6v17 says

For the great day of His wrath is come and who shall be able to stand?

In his mercy God raptures or catches away His church. Some have called this the pre-wrath rapture.

1 Thessalonians 5 speaking of the Day of the Lord coming as a thief in the night says that the unsaved will be living in a false sense of security and when they say peace and safety then sudden destruction comes upon them as a thief.

Jesus uses the same imagery of a thief coming to rob a house in Matthew 24v42-44 to warn us to watch and be alert so that we are ready when that day comes and may be found worthy to escape all these things and to stand before the Son of Man. Luke 21v36.

God has promised us that that day (the Day of the Lord) will not overtake us as a thief. Why? Because, we are children of light and not of darkness, we are not of the night but the day

1 Thessalonians 5v5

The Day of the Lord will not take the church by surprise. We will recognise the specific signs that Jesus told us about - sun turned to darkness and moon to blood - and we look up in expectation of His return knowing that our salvation draws near. We will know that the archangel is about to shout, the trumpet is about to sound and the Lord is going to descend and we will be caught up to meet Him in the air and we will be saved from the wrath to come.

God may permit us to be persecuted but He will not permit us to experience His wrath.

The Marriage Supper of the Lamb

The same great multitude in Revelation 7 are found at the marriage supper of the Lamb in Revelation 19.

In v6 John hears the voice of a great multitude in heaven saying

6¶And I heard as it were the voice of a great multitude, and as the voice of many waters, and as the voice of mighty thunderings, saying, Alleluia: for the Lord God omnipotent reigneth.

7Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honour to him: for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and his wife hath made herself ready.

The term "great multitude" is only used twice in the book of Revelation. In studying God's Word

the "law of first mention" applies. The first mention of the term, great multitude, in Revelation 7 refers to those who came out of great tribulation. It therefore follows that it is the same group who are at the marriage supper of the Lamb in Chapter 19. Jesus is married to His bride. It says that the bride has made herself ready.

The Importance of Heeding the Warnings and Watching

Finally, one thing I want to cover and highlight. Jesus spoke these words about the days of Noah and Lot

Luke 17v26-30

26And as it was in the days of Noe, so shall it be also in the days of the Son of man.

27They did eat, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, and the flood came, and destroyed them all.

28Likewise also as it was in the days of Lot; they did eat, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they builded;

29But the same day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed them all.

30Even thus shall it be in the day when the Son of man is revealed.

You see when He returns, most of the world will be living their lives oblivious and totally unconcerned. They will be so caught up with everyday life - marrying, eating and drinking, building houses - that they will not be in the slightest bit interested in the warnings that will be delivered by God's messengers. Noah was a preacher of righteousness 2 Peter 2v 5 who faithfully proclaimed the warning that God was going to destroy the world with a flood. He preached the message for 120 years and not one person outside of his immediate family took heed. The flood came and destroyed them all.

The saddest thing for me is that countless, so called Christians, who are in a lukewarm state and have no love for the truth of God's Word will be included with the many unbelievers who didn't take heed and respond to the clarion call and warning to repent, prepare and watch and pray.

2 Thessalonians 2 says

10And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.

11And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:

12That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness. I don't know about you but I don't want to be among those "Christians" who come under such God sent strong delusion that I will believe the lie and be damned, all because I would not receive the love of the truth.

It's serious folks. We are in the endgame. We are on the verge - it's so close you could almost touch it -of the days Jesus warned about.

Everything that is happening in our world - Covid, lockdowns, MRna . vaccinations, total compliance, the current inflationary pressures, cost of living crisis, war in Ukraine and focus on climate change to name but a few - are part of the conditioning and preparation that is taking place to usher in the 7th world kingdom of Revelation 17v10 which will only continue for a short time before being taken over by the AntiChrist v11.

Agenda 21, Agenda 2030, climate change and all the restrictions which will be imposed to decrease the global carbon footprint, United Nations, World Economic Forum (WEF) and it's Global Reset (also known as Build Back Better) with it's Internet of Things (IOT), the 4th Industrial Revolution, Universal Basic Income (UBI), social credit scoring system, and it's stated aim of " you will own nothing and be happy" are all means to an end.

However we have millions (sadly including many in the church system who claim to be saved) who are fulfilling Peter's words in 2 Peter 3v3&4

3Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts,

4And saying, Where is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation. Please don't be in this group of scoffers who are so deceived that they think Christ's return and the days He warned about will not happen in their lifetime, if at all.

Please, please take heed and receive the love of the truth

34¶And take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting, and drunkenness, and cares of this life, and so that day come upon you unawares.

35For as a snare shall it come on all them that dwell on the face of the whole earth.

36Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.

We need to pray and ask the Holy Spirit to open our eyes and enable us to see and know the day we are living in and how close we are to the Lord’s return.

Please ask the Lord to open your heart to the Truth in this message.

Conclusion

The Great Tribulation is not the same as the Day the Lord. They are 2 distinct periods which are separated by the sealing of the 144,000 and the rapture of the church.

The Great Tribulation is signified by the abomination of desolation Matthew 24v15 (2 Thessalonians2v4) and is cut short Matthew 24v21&22, the Greek word for shortened literally means to amputate

1: κολοβόω (Strong's #2856 — Verb — koloboo — kol-ob-o'-o )denotes "to cut off, amputate" (kolobos, "docked"); hence, "to curtail, shorten," said of the "shortening" by God of the time of the great tribulation, Matthew 24:22 (twice); Mark 13:20 (twice). Therefore it does not mean that the Great Tribulation will be restricted to a specific period of time as some teach i.e. 3.5 years but that it will literally be shortened in duration for the sake of the elect.

Likewise the Day of the Lord is preceded by specific signs (Matthew 24v29 and Revelation 6v12-17 mirror Joel 2v31, Isaiah 13v9&10 and Zephaniah 1v14-18)

The Preceding Signs

1.      A great earthquake Revelation 6v12

2.      Wonders in the heavens and the earth Joel 2v30

3.      Blood, fire and pillars of smoke Joel 2v30

4.      Sun darkened (Black as sackcloth of hair) Joel 2, Isaiah 13v10, Matthew 24, Revelation 6)

5.      Moon not give it’s light (turned to blood) Joel 2, Isaiah 13v10, Matthew 24, Revelation 6)

6.      Stars fall from heaven Matthew 24 and Revelation 6

7.      Powers of heaven are shaken Matthew 24
