Synopsis of Part 1
In Part 1, we looked at how Jesus warned that deception would be rife in the days before His return. He warned us to be on our guard.
We also learned that the Mystery of Iniquity is working to prepare the way for the Man of Sin or AntiChrist
(2 Thessalonians 2v7). The antichrist spirit is working through the globalist/Luciferian elite to deceive and delude believers and non-believers alike in these days. We have witnessed and experienced the planned conditioning and social engineering over these past 2 years, the purpose of which has been to produce compliance, conformity and compromise, through a fear induced "pandemic". This has enabled the Satanic control of nations to be extended and enforced.
We are in the very last days and it is time for the church of the Living God to awake out of its comatose state and to discern and recognise by the revelation of the Holy Spirit, the season we have entered and the tactics that the enemy is deploying to prepare the way for the Beast system of Revelation 13, 17 & 18.
Humility and Repentance
2 Chronicles 7v14
If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.
I want to breakdown this well known and oft quoted verse as follows:
We have a choice
It is addressed to certain people
There is a chronological order
God's intervention and action are conditional
Choice
IF, IF, IF!
We have a choice to hear the call to repentance and respond and repent, or, to reject it and rebel.
Like the children of Israel, we can be a stiff necked people and choose our own ways and walk in rebellion or we can humble ourselves and choose God's way and align ourselves with His Word, heart and purposes in these days.
God will call through the prophets, rising up early and sending them. He will mandate His prophets and give them a message to deliver but He will never take away or overrule our free will.
Certain People
My people who are called by my name.
He isn't calling unbelievers or those who are in the kingdom of darkness to repent in this passage. He is calling His own people, who He has purchased with His own blood and for whom He paid the ultimate price.
He is calling those who He has adopted into His family and those who He has called by His name.
2 Timothy 2v19
Nevertheless the solid foundation of God stands, having this seal: “The Lord knows those who are His,” and, “Let everyone who names the name of Christ depart from iniquity.”
I had the misfortune recently, to have to address false teaching and thinking that I came across on Facebook.
Basically, some people believed that repentance was a work, as was water baptism in the context of salvation, specifically as stated in Acts 2v38. They totally refuted the need for any repentance on our part. Faith without repentance was their mantra.
Then Peter said to them, “Repent, and let every one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.
The misfortune was not, that I had to challenge the wrong thinking but that people who called themselves by the name of Christ, actually were so wrong in their doctrinal understanding of scripture, so that they didn't believe repentance was essential and absolutely foundational in salvation. By the way and I make no apology for stating this, according to the Apostle Peter's statement in Acts 2v38 so is water baptism. If you have an issue with that, then you need to take that up with God. Either it's time to accept that the Bible is the inerrant, infallible Word of God and that it is God breathed (2 Timothy 2v16&17) and we align with it and esteem it and honour it above our denominational traditions, beliefs and man made doctrines or else we continue to cut out the bits we don't like and fulfil Jesus words in Mark 7v6&7
Well did Isaiah prophesy of you hypocrites, as it is written:
This people honours Me with their lips,
But their heart is far from Me.
And in vain they worship Me,
Teaching as doctrines the commandments of men.
I'm sorry but the time for messing about and esteeming man's traditions above God's Word is over. It's time for it, to be exposed for what it is, quite simply, it is rebellion and disobedience. If our tradition is more important to us than obeying and submitting to God's voice and His Word then what better are we than the Pharisees and Sadducees in Jesus day. Jesus said to them
The harlot and the publican will enter into the Kingdom of God ahead of you whitewashed sepulchres.
Why? because they are willing to humble themselves and do what I say.
Matthew 7v21
Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven.
By the way, I was accused of believing in a false gospel because I believed what Acts 2v38 says. That's where we are in these days.
Deception is rife and 1 Timothy 4v1 and 2 Thessalonians 2v3 are being fulfilled!
Chronological Order
The order we see is not be chance. Nothing in God's Word is by chance.
If my people who are called by My Name will:
Humble themselves
Pray
Seek My face
Turn from their wicked way
It starts with us, as God's people humbling ourselves. Getting off our high horses of pride and arrogance and humbling ourselves before a Holy, Almighty and Sovereign God.
God resists the proud but gives grace to the humble. James 4v6
Humility is the starting point to prayer and then going even deeper by seeking God's face with all of our heart. Seeking Him until we find Him Jeremiah 29v12-14
Then, we will be in a position to truly turn, in genuine repentance, from our wicked ways, including turning from our own self-will, self-reliance, self-importance, self-ambition, self-effort, self-righteousness and pride.
We look down on the wicked ways of the unsaved but what wicked ways are you and I holding on too?
Remember judgement must begin at the house of God. 1 Peter 5v17
God 's Intervention is Conditional
We have accepted a lie. The lie that has been perpetuated, is that God loves us unconditionally. I used to believe it until God opened my eyes. He loves us but to experience that amazing love, we must meet the conditions.
The Word of God says in Psalm 7v11
God is a just judge,
And God is angry with the wicked every day.
Does that sound like unconditional love?
John 3v16 is conditional upon "whosoever believes on him shall not perish".
Jesus didn't die for us and shed His royal, precious and priceless blood so that we could experience His love and forgiveness while continuing in our sin. No! We must repent and believe the gospel. Whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved. We must call in true repentance and in saving faith. We must meet God's conditions to get saved and also when we are saved. Cheap grace, easy believism and a seeker friendly gospel is another gospel, a pseudo gospel which doesn't produce repentance unto life.
I read recently about an old time preacher, from many years ago, who believed that repentance wasn't a quick 2 minute "come into my heart Lord Jesus" prayer but that there has to be an outward sign of the inward work of repentance when people come to the altar i.e. true contrition and godly sorrow including tears of repentance. Look at David's words in the great Psalm of repentance,
Psalm 51v17
The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit,
A broken and a contrite heart—
These, O God, You will not despise.
If you love me keep my commandments. John 14v15
If a man loves me he will keep my words and my Father will love him and we will come and make our abode with him. John 14v23
If we make the right choice as God's people and meet the conditions, God will intervene. He has promised to do so.
He is a covenant keeping God.
A Message from Proverbs for our Day
Proverbs 1v20-23
The Call of Wisdom
20 Wisdom calls aloud outside; She raises her voice in the open squares.
21 She cries out in the chief concourses,
At the openings of the gates in the city
She speaks her words:
22 How long, you simple ones, will you love simplicity?
For scorners delight in their scorning,
And fools hate knowledge.
23 Turn at my rebuke;
Surely I will pour out my spirit on you;
I will make my words known to you.
What or who is Wisdom in God's Word?
1 Corinthians 1v24
But to those who are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God and the wisdom of God.
1 Corinthians 1v30 says
30 But of Him you are in Christ Jesus, who became for us wisdom from God—and righteousness and sanctification and redemption
Jesus Christ is the Wisdom of God.
The Holy Spirit is called the Spirit of Wisdom and Revelation in Ephesians 2v17.
So what is this passage in Proverbs saying to us in our day? What prophetic message, exhortation and warning does it provide to our generation upon whom the ends of the world have come?
God by His Spirit is crying to us in this day in the streets, in the busy city squares, concourses, in the gates i.e. to get the attention of as many of His people as possible and speak to our hearts and take hold of us with a cry and message in this hour and He is saying in a very clear and distinct manner:
How long will you simple ones love your simplicity?
The Hebrew word for simple and simplicity is the same word:
Strong's h6612
- Lexical: פְתִי
- Transliteration: pthiy
- Part of Speech: Adjective; noun feminine
- Phonetic Spelling: peth-ee'
- Definition: simple, perhaps open-minded.
- Origin: Or pethiy {peh'-thee}; or pthaeiy {peth-aw-ee'}; from pathah; silly (i.e. Seducible).
- Usage: foolish, simple(-icity, one).
It means foolish and seducible.
How long will you be foolish and in your foolishness be seducible?
Are we seeing this among the people of God in our day? Many are so biblically illiterate and rely so much on the message of man that they cannot discern the time or season nor can they recognise the spirit that is at work in the earth. Consequently there are many in the pulpit and pew who are easily seduced and deceived. Surely the actions, attitudes and meek compliance that we have witnessed from the body of Christ in this last 2 years, clearly demonstrates that this is the case. Many have compromised, complied and been controlled by the spirit of delusion that has swept across the nations. They are blind leaders of the blind and if ever the words of Isaiah the prophet have rang true it is in this day:
Isaiah 29v10-14
10 For the Lord hath poured out upon you the spirit of deep sleep, and hath closed your eyes: the prophets and your rulers, the seers hath he covered.
11 And the vision of all is become unto you as the words of a book that is sealed, which men deliver to one that is learned, saying, Read this, I pray thee: and he saith, I cannot; for it is sealed:
12 And the book is delivered to him that is not learned, saying, Read this, I pray thee: and he saith, I am not learned.
13 Wherefore the Lord said, Forasmuch as this people draw near me with their mouth, and with their lips do honour me, but have removed their heart far from me, and their fear toward me is taught by the precept of men:
14 Therefore, behold, I will proceed to do a marvellous work among this people, even a marvellous work and a wonder: for the wisdom of their wise men shall perish, and the understanding of their prudent men shall be hid.
We read about the 5 wise and the 5 foolish virgins in Matthew 25. The foolish hadn't got sufficient oil in their lamps, their lamps were going out. The oil represents the anointing of the Holy Spirit.
God is doing a marvellous work among the remnant in these days. They will rely and depend absolutely on the Holy Spirit to teach, lead, guide, empower and equip them. The wisdom of the wise shall perish and be of no interest to them. Consequently, they will not be seduced because they are abiding in the truth. They are being taught by the anointing 1 John 2v27.
God is calling to us. Wisdom is crying. Stop loving foolishness. Stop relying on the wisdom of man. Stop being so easily seduced. It doesn't have to be that way.
Ephesians 5v14-18 echoes Proverbs 1v22
14 Wherefore he saith, Awake thou that sleepest, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall give thee light.
15 See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise,
16 Redeeming the time, because the days are evil.
17 Wherefore be ye not unwise, but understanding what the will of the Lord is.
18 And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit;
Proverbs 1 continues by speaking to:
The scorners who delight in scorning
The fools who hate knowledge
The Hebrew word for scorners is:
Strong's h3887
- Lexical: לוּץ
- Transliteration: luts
- Part of Speech: Verb
- Phonetic Spelling: loots
- Definition: ambassador, have in derision, interpreter, make a mock, mocker.
- Origin: A primitive root; properly, to make mouths at, i.e. To scoff
So for scorners read scoffers and mockers.
2 Peter 3v3&4 says that there will be such people in the last days
3 Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts,
4 And saying, Where is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation.
The Hebrew word for fools is
Strong's h3684
- Lexical: כְּסִיל
- Transliteration: kesil
- Part of Speech: Noun Masculine
- Phonetic Spelling: kes-eel'
- Definition: stupid fellow, dullard, fool.
- Origin: From kacal; properly, fat, i.e. (figuratively) stupid or silly.
- Usage: fool(-ish).
So, not only is the Spirit of God rebuking the simple ones and the scoffers but also the stupid who hate and despise knowledge.
However, what a promise to those who will repent and turn unto God at His reproof. For those who will humble themselves and turn from being seducible, from mocking and hating knowledge they will know and experience two amazing things in this day:
They will be part of and experience the endtime outpouring of God's Spirit
God will reveal His Word to them
Wow, what an incentive to turn to God in this hour. Instead of being deceived, we will walk in the light as He is in the light. We will be part of the greatest outpouring of God's Spirit this world has ever known. We will be part of the endtime army and Priesthood of Believers who walk in the power of the Holy Ghost and are co-labourers in bringing in the great end-time harvest of precious souls. We will be participators and not spectators. Hallelujah what a promise!
The Solemn Warning ⚠️
Proverbs 1v24-32 provides a most solemn warning to those who reject, refuse, disregard and despise the warning and call to repentance:
God will laugh at their calamity
He will mock when fear comes
He will not hear nor answer their prayer
They shall eat of the fruit of their own self-will and stubborn way
They shall be filled with their own devices and ways
Proverbs 1v33
33But whoever listens to me will dwell safely,
And will be secure, without fear of evil.”
Will we continue as God's people to set at nothing His counsel and despise His reproof or will we listen, receive and respond in repentance and know the blessing and favour of God?
How will we Respond
If these past 2 years have taught us anything, it is that we must be rooted and grounded in the Truth. The spirit of antichrist and Mystery of Iniquity are working overtime to prepare the way for the Anti-Christ.
However God is also preparing a people, a remnant, who will move and operate in the Elijah anointing and like John the Baptist, who prepared the way of the Lord at Jesus first coming, they will make the rough places smooth, the crooked places straight and will make a highway for the King. A highway into the hearts of a people, who have been called to the Kingdom for such a time as this.
We must desire the discernment, wisdom, revelation and help of the Holy Ghost like never before.
In Ephesians 1v15-23, Paul prays for the church at Ephesus. A prayer and passage that still applies to all believers today.
15 Wherefore I also, after I heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus, and love unto all the saints,
16 Cease not to give thanks for you, making mention of you in my prayers;
17 That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him:
18 The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints,
19 And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power,
20 Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places,
21 Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come:
22 And hath put all things under his feet, and gave him to be the head over all things to the church,
23 Which is his body, the fulness of him that filleth all in all.
I believe that we are the generation who will experience the time of greatest trouble and persecution but also of power and great glory and we will see the return of the Lord.
He will be put down all rule and authority and the kingdoms of this world will become the kingdoms of our Lord of His Christ and He shall reign over all.
To be positioned to receive the promised end-time outpouring and be aligned with God's purposes we must know and experience divine enlightenment. The eyes of our understanding must be opened so that we can see how God sees and receive from Him the insight, knowledge and discernment we need to be a wise, awakened and tuned in people.
The Laodicean church In Revelation was rebuked by Jesus Christ for being in a deluded state. Thinking they had need of nothing, He said that they were blind, naked, poor and miserable. He accused them of being in a lukewarm state.
His counsel is recorded in v18
18 I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be rich; and white raiment, that thou mayest be clothed, and that the shame of thy nakedness do not appear; and anoint thine eyes with eyesalve, that thou mayest see.
Note that he counselled them to anoint their eyes that they might see, that they might have spiritual sight. Instead of living in spiritual darkness and blindness, He wanted them through the anointing to have spiritual light and sight.
Why was His rebuke so strong?
v19 provides the answer:
19 As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent.
20 Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.
He loves us so much and that is why He rebukes and chastises us. He wants us to experience His very best and to share in His glory in these days. He longs to have such sweet communion and fellowship with us.
He longs to be intimate with us.
He is knocking.

Will we keep the door closed?
Will we refuse His invitation?
Will we close our ears and reject the Lord's offer to share in His glory and His holy calling?
He is calling.
He is waiting.
He is longsuffering and patient but the time is short and His call to repentance and to turn unto Him and stop walking on our own path, strength and wisdom will not last indefinitely.
Now is the time to hear His voice and to turn unto Him and seek His heart and ways.
Scripture references are KJV and NKJV.
Like the Bereans in Acts 17v10&11, I encourage to search the scriptures for yourself. Don't just take my word for it, check everything in this message against the Word of God.
