No one is saying it's easy to go against the crowd but the reality is that is our calling.

We are called to follow the cloud and not the crowd.

We won't win any popularity contests, in fact Jesus said, we would be hated of all men for His name's sake. People will hate us because we belong to Jesus. Simple no other reason. The spirit that works in the children of disobedience (Ephesians 2v2) will be offended by the light, truth and life of Christ within us.

The days of fitting in are over.

The church has become powerless by compromising, complying and becoming acceptable and respectable.

No voice, no life, no difference!

No vision, no light, no truth!

Isaiah 56v10-12

10His watchmen are blind: they are all ignorant, they are all dumb dogs, they cannot bark; sleeping, lying down, loving to slumber.

11Yea, they are greedy dogs which can never have enough, and they are shepherds that cannot understand: they all look to their own way, every one for his gain, from his quarter.

12Come ye, say they, I will fetch wine, and we will fill ourselves with strong drink; and to morrow shall be as this day, and much more abundant.

Silence on Roe v Wade and the victory for the innocent and vulnerable unborn.

Silent on LGBTQ while the evil is called Pride and God's covenant promise is flown as a symbol of the rebellion.

Silence on the deception and lies/propaganda that is propagated about Covid, Climate Change, Ukraine, the Great Reset including the coming financial meltdown and reset to a cashless, digital economy.

Silent about the control and compliance that is making the way for the prophesied one world political, economic and religious government Revelation 13.

Silent on the lateness of the hour and the signs of the times.

Silent about what God wants us to do in this hour.

Watchmen who have deserted their posts and look to their own way.

Hirelings that flee when the wolf comes to destroy the sheep.

Blind leaders of the blind with nothing to offer but empty soundbites, sermonites and new age doctrines.

The book shelves are full of their 10 ways to feel better about your sinful, fleshly nature.

The power of positive thought is a poor substitute for the power (the dunamis) of the Holy Ghost but that's what the majority of the church has settled for.

Matthew 5v10-12

10Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness' sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

11Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake.

12Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you.

The reality is that we are called to a life of rejection, persecution and being despised just like our Saviour.

If we think it's anything different then we are biblically illiterate and deceived by the false gospel that is so well received by those who want to avoid the way of the cross.

John 15v18-21

18¶If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you.

19If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you.

20Remember the word that I said unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord. If they have persecuted me, they will also persecute you; if they have kept my saying, they will keep yours also.

21But all these things will they do unto you for my name's sake, because they know not him that sent me.

Praise God I believe he is raising up a remnant. He's awakening a people who will walk with Him in the power of the Spirit and with the Word of Truth burning in their hearts and like a fire shut up in their bones. A Word Bride, who will deny self, take up the cross and follow Jesus.

Our future can be glorious but it won't be experienced if we are not aligned with God's Word and purposes.
