Woe unto the Pastors

The utter hypocrisy and lack of true compassion among so called church leaders and those who take the title of "Pastor" to themselves is astonishing.

Jesus called them hirelings who have absolutely no love or care for the sheep and flee when they see the wolf coming to destroy the sheep.

John 10v11-13

11¶I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep.

12But he that is an hireling, and not the shepherd, whose own the sheep are not, seeth the wolf coming, and leaveth the sheep, and fleeth: and the wolf catcheth them, and scattereth the sheep.

13The hireling fleeth, because he is an hireling, and careth not for the sheep.

What a contrast with the True Shepherd who gives His life for the sheep.

The reality is there will be a day of reckoning for those who love the title and position but don't love or care for the sheep.

Ezekiel 34v10&11

10Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I am against the shepherds; and I will require my flock at their hand, and cause them to cease from feeding the flock; neither shall the shepherds feed themselves any more; for I will deliver my flock from their mouth, that they may not be meat for them.

11¶For thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I, even I, will both search my sheep, and seek them out.

Read Ezekiel 34 and Jeremiah 23 for yourselves but what it clearly states is the Lord knows the false shepherds, He is not oblivious to their self interest or motives and He sees how they abuse those who they "rule over" and control for their own selfish egotistical ends.

Woe unto the shepherds!

God sees it all. He searches and sees right into our innermost being and tests and knows our deepest motives and intents.

We can bluff and deceive others but we can't hide from the eyes that burn like fire. Revelation 1v14.

Those eyes see through all the pretense and falseness. The superficiality and pretense cannot stand the eyes that burn through it all with searing heat, exposing the false and that which is just "put on" to look good.

King Saul was a pretentious self seeking man who cared more about his reputation than repenting and humbling himself before God. 1 Samuel 15v30.

God rejected Saul from being King and He has also rejected those who operate in the same jealous, self seeking and egotistical spirit in our day. 1 Samuel 15v26-29

David however, was a man after God's own heart because he was humble, helpless and broken before God.

Lord remove the Saul ministries and expose them for what they are and raise up Davids, men and women who will carry your heart and love. True shepherds and God appointed and anointed leaders with a backbone and the courage to do what is right, irrespective of loss of face or reputation, as they are empowered by the Holy Ghost.

Jeremiah 23v4

4And I will set up shepherds over them which shall feed them: and they shall fear no more, nor be dismayed, neither shall they be lacking, saith the LORD.

Ezekiel 34v23&24

23And I will set up one shepherd over them, and he shall feed them, even my servant David; he shall feed them, and he shall be their shepherd.

24And I the LORD will be their God, and my servant David a prince among them; I the LORD have spoken it.

We pray Lord hasten the day, when true elders will lead and care for your sheep and will truly represent the Good Shepherd and impart your compassion, care and love to the people of God.

One fold and one Shepherd, united as one under the true leadership of Christ.

Hebrews 4v12&13

12For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

13Neither is there any creature that is not manifest in his sight: but all things are naked and opened unto the eyes of him with whom we have to do
